I pretty much love anything setup as a bar, so I find bar carts super adorable.   They can be a bit pricey brand new but the good thing is you can pretty much repurpose any old cart into a bar cart.   I found a three-tiered metal cart at a flea market for $20.  It was already painted white but needed a fresh coat.   I spray painted it with a can of white paint and set it up.  I placed trays on the first and third tiers and used a piece of scrap fabric, left over from reupholstering the dining chairs, on the second tier to add a little pattern.

There are so many decorative options though.  You could go bright, or glam (with metallics!), or have fun with painted patterns.

Even if you don’t have an actual cart, you can still get the look with a bar tray on a piece of furniture you already have.  bar tray

Such a chic look!  Do you like the look (and function) of bar carts?  Do you have a bar set up at home? What are your essentials?

I’ve been on the hunt for a cart like this for awhile. I think I need to visit the flea markets/thrift stores in ATL because Houston is no match. LOVE the cart!

I like the idea of a cart for a function or party, but for everyday use they don’t work for us. I like to keep my preferred liquors cold, so having them at room temp adds too many steps for me!

Love the idea! I have had a bar set up, thoroughly enjoyed it. Changed it out a few years ago, but…who knows it might come back?
