End of Summer Cocktail
With our glorious, beginning-of-fall weather here in Georgia, I’ve been grilling a little more often. Most people seem to grill in the summer, but I prefer to be outside in cooler weather. Even though summer is just about over I thought I’d share one of my go to cocktails for the season. I made it up so I don’t know if it has an official name. I think of it like a modified margarita. I use: a shot glass of tequila, and instead of triple sec I use a splash of peach schnapps. I squeeze in the juice of a fresh lime and top it off with sparkling wine. As a final touch, I macerate a couple of stevia leaves in the glass and stir.
It’s a refreshing drink. I hope you give it a try!
Do you have a go-to cocktail? Or have any delicious ideas for the grill for the weekend?
