August Blooms: Red Roses

I skipped the ‘July Blooms’ post but we’ll count the beautiful arrangements delivered for the magazine shoot as the flower post for that month.  These fabulous red roses were in the clearance cart at our local Kroger.   I wish they would have such an abundance of nice flowers every week but it’s just hit or miss when it comes to the clearance bin.  2 dozen for $6.  You know I wanted to buy a bunch for every room.

I didn’t do anything special,  just cut them and put them in a round, glass container this time, to brighten up the sink area.

I feel like a scored a real coup with these succulent combo bowls.  They were marked down to $4! That’s cheaper than a bouquet of flowers and they’ll last much longer.
