A family friend has wanted to remodel her small kitchen for years.   After our kitchen remodel, I referred her to A Polished Finish, the company who provided our granite countertops and new cabinets.   She ended up going with them also for her new kitchen!     The majority of this work was done in 2 days: old cabinets torn out and replaced with new cabinets in day one and countertops and sink installed on the second day.

She is still doing some tweaking and will make more updates (new lighting, island, decorative items) but the new cabinets have really made their mark. They look great! I am so excited for her! It’s just amazing to be able to get just what you want in a new kitchen!

I especially love how the cabinets were built out around the refrigerator. It really makes a big difference in both looks and function.  The cabinets above the refrigerator are now accessible when they weren’t before.   What an improvement and it’s not even finished yet!

The cabinets are amazing. Love the way they adjusted the ones over the refrigerator, you are right, it makes such a difference.

The new counter accents the black-splash tile perfectly, almost as if they were selected together. Nice work! :)

I really like that you didn’t feel it necessary to update all of your appliances to stainless steel. You showed that everything does not need to be brand new and perfectly matched to look good.
I also like that you considered keeping your old cabinets, and when you decided not to you re-purposed them in the garage. Nothing makes me crazier than when I’m watching a home-improvement show and they sledge-hammer perfectly good cabinets, and trash working fairly new appliances because they aren’t perfect. I came across your blog when I read about your new couch on the Decades Web site, (Great choice,) and read through a lot of your posts last night. I really enjoyed it.
    Keep up the good work!
